CSP/Adult MH Rehab Services
The Community Support
Programs work together with county social service
agencies,
various community agencies, and natural supports to help
those who face serious mental illness live
independently in the community. Staff provide
support to improve interpersonal skills.
Assistance is provided for management of medications,
housing and employment issues, school functions,
participation in community recreational activities,
developing job skills, and accessing appropriate
benefits.
The Journey Drop In
Center provides an important link for consumers to
community resources, supports, and leisure events.
The Center provides a supportive environment as well as
scheduled community social events and various support
programs.
Family
Community Support
Family Community Support
offers community-based, supportive services to children
with severe emotional problems and their families.
Services are designed to help children with severe
emotional disturbances improve their ability to function
within their community and family.
The Family Community
Support Program uses a team of mental health
professionals and outreach workers to provide the
services needed to remain in the community. Staff
will work with other direct service providers with whom
the family are already involved.
