HomeBased Services
Home-Based services are
designed to meet the needs of families with children
"at-risk" for
out-of-home placement. The goal is to maintain
their families through in-home counseling and therapy.
Family strengths are the basis to begin resolving issues
which impact the functioning of children and their
families in the home, community, and school. Staff
link families with resources in the community to assist
families in accomplishing their goals.
Educational and
skill-building experiences are provided for children and
their families.
Staff provide individual
and family counseling in the home to prevent out-of-home
placement. Areas of focus with families include
emotional problems of children and adults, behavioral
problems in children, family of origin issues, and
chemical use.
Licensed professionals
provide therapy and evaluations for children with
serious emotional problems. The staff also provide
individual, marital, and family therapy.
