Mental Health Rehab Worker/Mental Health Practitioner (Temporary):

 

Full time temporary position (December 2019 - March 2020) in the Crisis Stabilization Youth and Adult programs, primarily day shifts including every other weekend. Position will provide assessment and support to youth and adults who are experiencing a crisis including groups and skills training. Applicant must meet Mental Health Practitioner or Rehabilitation Worker MN Statute requirements. Training provided. Computer skills required. Must be 21 years of age and have the ability to pass a background check.

Mental Health Professional - Outpatient Services

 

Licensed Mental Health Professional: $3,500 sign on bonus to be paid $500 after 6 months, $1000 after 12 months, and $2000 after 18 months.

 

Unlicensed Clinical Trainee: $1,500 sign on bonus to be paid $250 after 6 months, $250 after 12 months, and $1000 after 18 months.

 

In order to qualify for the bonus staff must meet expectations on all performance evaluations and not have any disciplinary actions.

Mental Health Practitioner - CTSS/Home-Based

Mental Health Practitioner or Mental Health Worker:

 

Woodland Centers is a regional leader in the delivery of mental health services.  We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Practitioner or Mental Health Worker to provide behavioral/skill-based interventions to children in the New Connections Youth Day Treatment program.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with elementary age children.  This is a Monday through Friday 9:30-6:00 position.  In this position, you will facilitate or co-facilitate psycho-educational groups that provide an environment for children to learn and refine skills (anger management, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, etc.) through repetition and practice.  You will also meet with families and other service providers to ensure coordination of care.

 

As a Mental Health Practitioner at Woodland Centers, you will learn about how various mental health diagnoses look like in different age populations, and you will expand your knowledge in interventions.  *Specialized training in facilitating groups and providing case management is available on site.

  • Completed 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral science or related fields and completed a practicum or internship in the behavioral sciences or related fields

 

  • Completed 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral science or related fields and is working in a youth day treatment program

 

  • Has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services

 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related fields AND completed a practicum or internship in the behavioral sciences or related fields.

 

  • Additionally, you must possess a valid driver’s license, documentation of current vehicle insurance, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.

 

  • Prefer experience working with children and families

Crisis Mental Health Worker:

 

FT position will work day and evening shifts including every other weekend.  Assist youth and their families needing crisis mental health services in a short term residential setting. Provide direct service to clients in an individual and group setting. Position is also responsible for screening calls placed to the crisis line at Woodland Centers by answering phones, collecting referral information and dispatching crisis responders. Additional duties include data entry and office tasks as assigned. Must have the ability to speak fluent English and make calm, sound decisions. Excellent customer service and the ability to maintain confidentiality is required. Must be 21 years old or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have the ability to pass a background check. Training provided.

Nurse (LP or RN) - Temporary:

 

Temporary Part Time Nurse: (56 hours every two weeks including four 12 hour shifts 7:00am - 7:00pm and one 8 hour shift in the Detox and Crisis Units at Woodland Centers. Position will provide nursing services to adults and youth with chemical health and/or acute emotional issues. Position includes completing health screenings and monitoring, passing medications and processing provider orders. As a part of our team, you will communicate with clients, families and outside agencies while working in a fast paced environment. This position will begin in January and last for approximately 12 weeks. Must possess a valid MN Nursing license and be able to pass a background check, as well as document two years freedom from chemical use problems. NO mental health experience necessary!

Mental Health Professional - School Linked Mental Health:

 

Woodland Centers is currently recruiting a licensed Mental Health Professional (LP, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC) or clinical trainee (supervision for licensure will be provided at no cost) to work in our School Linked Mental Health Program in Chippewa, Lac Qui Parle, and Swift counties.
