Our Detoxification Unit provides short term care to persons experiencing intoxication or withdrawal from substances in a sub-acute setting. Persons are monitored by our nursing staff and referrals are made for additional medical services if needed.
While staying in the Detox Unit persons will meet with a licensed alcohol and drug counselor for a substance use screening or assessment. In addition, the nursing staff provides substance use education, nursing services and support. Referrals are made for additional treatment services as recommended by the staff. In our calm, comfortable unit the average length of stay is 1-3 days.
We are available for walk-in services and admissions 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays.
