Laura is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN. Laura'a role at Woodland Centers is Clinical Supervisor within the Crisis Services Program which includes urgent care services, mobile response teams and residential crisis programming.
Over the last 25 years, Laura has worked for the State of Minnesota, the Federal Government and several various programs within Woodland Centers. Her competencies include Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Crisis Intervention skills and CBT while utilizing strength-based interventions and motivational interviewing with a focus on treating symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and other mental health symptoms. She has worked with individuals both youth and adult, marital and family systems along with corporate compliance programs.
