Because mental illness is often most effectively treated with a combination of medication and therapy or rehabilitative services, psychiatric professionals are a core aspect of Woodland Centers' comprehensive treatment services. Along with their nursing support, our adult and child psychiatrists and psychiatric advanced practice registered nurses provide: comprehensive psychiatric assessments; medication management services; medication education, including assistance for obtaining prescription drugs at reduced prices; coordination of care with your primary care providers; and information on community resources.
