Rachel provides individual and family therapy in the Lac qui Parle and Chippewa offices. She works with children of all ages, adolescents, and adults. Rachel is a nationally certified provider of TFCBT(trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), is trained in YogaCalm, provides play therapy and other therapeutic approaches, and strives to address each individual with a client-centered approach. Areas of experience include working with clients with attachment-related issues, trauma, parenting or family struggles, adjustment, grief/loss, depression, and anxiety.
Rachel received her Bachelor degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN and then received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. She has been providing therapeutic services in rural MN since 2013 and was hired by Woodland Centers in 2016.
