Nancy Pesta Walsh is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Nancy has been employed at Woodland Centers since 2021and she provides full scope psychiatric care.
Nancy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the College of St. Benedict in 1993. She earned a Master’s degree in Nursing From Frontier Nursing University as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008. She also earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in 2010. She earned a post-doctoral certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2020.
She continues to practice as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care and urgent care. In addition, she teaches Nurse Practitioner students at Frontier Nursing University.
She has a special interest in depression and anxiety and the role of self care, therapy, and medications to positively impact mental health.
