Woodland Centers continues to implement various changes related to becoming certified as a CCBHC. Recently we added a Certified Peer team which includes staff who are certified as Peer Specialists, Recovery Specialists, and/or Family Peer Specialists. This team will offer emotional support, teach skills and connect our clients with resources, opportunities, services, and communities of support. We also finalized hiring of our care coordinator team and are actively working to get these staff trained for this new position at the agency. Woodland Centers has been able to hire therapists to perform comprehensive assessments opening the door to our services in a timely manner, same day in most cases. Additionally, we have been able to hire additional psychiatric staff so we have immediate openings for psychiatric referrals. While we do have waitlists in a few programs and services, most programs are able to quickly and efficiently get individuals into services. Financially, Woodland Centers has been in the black every month in 2022 and we are on track for a healthy financial year.
