Catherine is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Woodland Centers. She provides assessments, individual, family, marital/partnership therapy in Kandiyohi County for a broad range of mental health issues in those ages 6 to 86+.
Catherine's particular interests are issues of depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, other trauma issues, relationship discord, and teens with issues of development of the self and emancipation. She also provides clinical supervision for Home Based Practitioners in Kandiyohi County and provides clinical services in the Adult and Youth Crisis programs.
Catherine has been employed at Woodland Centers since 2006. She has been involved in Home Based services, Intensive In Home, School Linked Mental Health at RCW and BOLD schools, co-facilitated then facilitated the Depression Skills Management Group, and Adult and Youth Crisis Center. She has also substituted in Adolescent Day Treatment Group, Youth Day Treatment Group, Illness Management and Recovery Group, and a Supervisor for ARHMS.
Catherine earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University in 2008. She also earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from St. Cloud State University in 1996 with a focus in applied psychology, sociology and speech communication.
