Kate provides individual, couples, and family counseling, DBT Group, and diagnostic assessments for individuals 6 and older. Kate works as an outpatient provider in the Benson and Ortonville locations and provides both in-person and telehealth appointments. She has experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, borderline personality disorder, grief and loss, adoption, transracial adoption and attachment concerns, and trauma. Kate utilizes Person Centered and Strengths Based perspectives to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from the University of Minnesota, Morris and a Master of Social Work from Capella University. She is currently a clinical trainee and working towards independent licensure. Kate has worked in the mental health field in a variety of settings including in school/preschool settings, residential treatment facilities, the mobile and residential crisis team, ARMHS, and outpatient therapy. Kate has worked at Woodland Centers for 5 years.

In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, camping, and gardening.
